Leslie R. Davis, D.M.D.

Dr. Leslie R. Davis is a general dentist who has been practicing dentistry for over 37 years. He was born and raised in Louisville's east end near Bowman Field and while in English class in the ninth grade at Seneca High School decided that dentistry would be his life's work.  After graduating from Seneca in May of 1964 he attended Indiana University in Bloomington for two years majoring in Zoology.  He transferred to U of L for his junior year and took early acceptance to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry freshman class entering in September of 1967.  Dr. Davis graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in May of 1971.

Rachel H. Davis, B.A., D.M.D.

Dr. Rachel Davis is a General Dentist practicing in all areas of dentistry. A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, Dr. Davis began work as a Dental Assistant and Lab Technician during her school years before immediately transitioning to a full-time General Dentist position at a respected dental center upon graduation. After only two years, she purchased the practice and became the owner of the new Davis Dental Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Her strong commitment to dental medicine is evident in her extensive volunteer experience, and has been highlighted in publications, leadership awards and service awards.

LaKeisha Davis D.M.D.

Dr. LaKeisha Davis is a graduate of the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry.  She has 4 years experience in private practice as a general dentist.  Dr. Davis is a native of Louisiana, but grew up in Paducah, KY.  As a military child, she lived in multiple cities before her family settled in Paducah to raise her and her older brother.  Upon high school graduation, her family relocated to Louisville and she has resided in Louisville for the last 12 years.  Dr. Davis loved going to the dentist as a child and decided early on that she wanted to be a dentist when she grew up.  That dream came true in 2008.  She strongly believes in providing excellent care to her patients at all times.  Dr. Davis prides herself on being very gentle and her patients appreciate her soft touch.

Stephanie
RDH, (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Stephanie is a graduate of the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry Hygiene Program and joined our team in April 2008 as full time hygienist. She is a practicing hygienist that is as nice and fun as her cleanings are. She has been a hygienist for many years now, currently holds an anesthesia license, general supervision certificate and has worked for many respectable dental offices. We are very happy to have Stephanie complete our dental team.

Jennifer F.
RDH, (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Jennifer F. joined our practice at the end of 2011 and was an excellent addition to complete our hygiene team. She brings expertise from many years in practice as a hygienist; graduating from University of Louisville's Hygiene Program in 2009. She also holds a anesthesia license and performs all types of hygiene procedures. Her gentle touch and great personality makes her cleaning appointments a pleasure for our patients. Jennifer is originally from Louisville, she is happily married and has a beautiful daughter that keeps her busy outside of the office.
 

Sandy
Dental Assistant

Sandy is the oldest veteran of the office, having worked for Dr. Leslie Davis for over 15 years! Just for that, Sandy deserves recognition but her dental skills definitely portray her extensive knowledge of dentistry. Sandy works to make sure that Dr. Davis’s schedule stays on track efficiently. The Davis Dental Center is very lucky to have acquired such a great assistant that has proven her worth and dedication to the practice and Dr. Davis.

Rebecca "Becky"
Receptionist

Becky joined our practice in August 2007 as a receptionist and has been an integral part of running the front office seamlessly. She has worked in the dental field for over thirty years ranging from dental assisting to front office duties and is happy to call the Davis Dental Center home. Her extensive experience has proven to be an essential component to our team now and for many years to come.

Taylor
EDDA (Extended Duties Dental Assistant),                       Coronal Polishing Certified

Taylor joined our practice in April 2007 and has since kept the title as the youngest employee. She went through ATA training and became certified as an EDDA and has her Coronal Polishing certification, which makes her able to polish teeth with a rubber cup and paste. Taylor’s ambition to learn has far surpassed her young age and has proven to also make Taylor a key member in running the dental operations of the office.

Diane
EDDA (Extended Duties Dental Assistant)

Diane joined our practice in November 2009 to assist Dr. Rachel. She moved to Louisville in August 2009 with her husband from London, KY. Diane was a substitute teacher in Laurel County before persuing her dreams of becoming a dental assistant. She completed her EDDA training in March 2009 at the Academy of Dental Assisting in Lexington, KY. Diane is happily married with two grown children, one step-son and 1 dog.

Natalie
Receptionist and Insurance Facilitator

Natalie is the youngest daughter of Dr. Davis and the sister of Dr. Rachel. She joined the team full time in 2009 after graduating from the University of Louisville with a business degree in marketing. She has helped out in some capacity of the office since she was 14! She is the friendly face you see when you enter the office and the last voice you will hear as you leave. Her duties are vast and no task is too big or too small for Natalie to handle. She also does insurance filing and recording and helps out with everyday office routines. Her knowledge of dentistry has far surpassed her age and we are lucky to have such a talented team member.

Jennifer H.
RDH, (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Jennifer joined our practice in January 2011, replacing Carol who retired. She is originally from Lexington, KY and graduated rom Bluegrass Community and Technical College's Hygiene Program in May 2007. She moved to Louisville in August 2007 and has previously worked in Oldham County. She enjoys working with both adults and children. She currently holds an anesthesia license and enjoys being a member of the Louisville District Dental Hygiene Association. Jennifer is happily married and has a two-year-old son.

Paula
Patient Coordinator

Paula joined our practice right after the practice purchase and is currently our Patient Coordinator and insurance guru. Paula helped transition the office and wore many different hats during the first year. Now Paula presents most of the treatment plans and sets up the many financial options that we offer. Paula has worked in the dental field for over thirty years, starting as a dental assisting and working her way to her current dream position. Paula has worked in many other aspects of dentistry from Orthodontics to Family Practice and has lived in Texas, Alabama and Indiana.

Hannah and Natalie,
Human Resources Manager and Administrative Assistant

Hannah and Natalie, complete the family aspect of the office. Hannah is the wife of Dr. Davis and the mother of Dr. Rachel. Natalie is Dr. Leslie Davis and Hannah's youngest daughter and Dr. Rachel's sister. These two strong characters are an integral part of the office morale, helping wherever they are needed with the business aspect of the office. Hannah has worked in the office for over 10 years. When she is not at the office, she can be found at the Louisville Bridge Club.
